Heavy armour changes how a marine moves. This is the bulkiest infantry a chapter fields short of a walking machine: broad-shouldered, slab-plated brutes who advance into range rather than manoeuvre around it, carrying the sort of weapons meant for clearing rooms and breaking a line at close quarters. Handing that role to a chapter better known for grace and speed makes for a good contrast. The same winged, high-gothic ornament and the same undercurrent of grief that runs through everything these warriors build, but mounted on a frame twice the width. The download comes as two files. Worth a look for anyone assembling a close-support element in a tabletop sci-fi force, and a satisfying subject at the painting desk, since the broad flat plates of the heavy pattern leave plenty of room for freehand and battle damage.
