Blood Angels Smash Captain

"Smash captain" is wargamer slang rather than an official rank. The archetype is a jump-pack officer kitted out purely for close assault, built around a two-handed impact weapon, who lands in the middle of an enemy line and takes it apart before anyone can react. This is that idea sculpted as a character model, caught mid-descent with the weight of the swing behind it. The Chapter it fights for is among the oldest and most storied in the Imperium, a loyalist force whose reputation mixes beauty, ferocity and no small amount of tragedy. Their characters tend to be the most ornate models in any army, and there is plenty of decorative work here to reward a slow brush and a steady hand. It comes as a multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale, working as an HQ choice or simply as a display centrepiece.
