A landmark bundled-tube skyscraper in miniature. This tower is instantly recognisable as the setback, tube-cluster silhouette made famous by Chicago's tallest — nine square shafts of stepping heights bundled into one mass, dropping away in stages until only two twin towers rise to the top, complete with the pair of rooftop antenna stubs. The facades are ruled with fine window banding on every face, and it sits on a slim ground-floor plinth. Printed as one piece, it needs no assembly. At N or HO diorama scale it anchors a city block, a model-railway backdrop or an architectural study; blown up larger it makes a striking desk sculpture for an architecture or engineering fan. Print notes: • Print upright straight off the plate — the flat base gives a solid footprint and the setbacks self-support well. • A 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.16 mm layers renders the window bands crisply; go finer if printing small. • If you want lit windows, print the shell in a translucent or white filament and drop an LED down the core. • Two-tone it like the render — pale towers, dark recessed faces — by pausing for a filament swap, or paint after printing. Give the base a light sand so it sits dead flat, then prime and paint in concrete greys, or leave it clean for a monochrome model-city look.
