Description
A slender tower reaching up out of your layout's skyline. Shown here as a solid silhouette render, this model is a tall, multi-stage tower building sitting on a square footing base. It steps inward as it rises — a broader lower block, a set-back mid-section, then a narrower upper shaft that finishes in a small stepped crown, giving it the proportions of an early-twentieth-century commercial high-rise or a campanile. Rows of window openings climb each face, and the wide base plate keeps it stable and ready to drop straight onto a board. Because the reference is a flat silhouette, confirm the exact surface ornament from the mesh, but the massing is unmistakable: a landmark vertical for dioramas, model railways and tabletop cities. Place it at the end of a high street or the heart of a downtown block to give a scene its focal point. On the print bed: • Prints upright straight off its base with no supports; the square plinth doubles as a built-in brim for adhesion. • A strong candidate for scaling to N, OO/HO or TT gauge — recheck wall thickness after shrinking so the window mullions survive. • For painted realism, base-coat in concrete grey, wash the recesses, then dry-brush the sills and cornices to pop each tier. • Hollow it and leave the base open if you want to slip an LED inside for lit windows after dark.
