Description
A stepped, mid-century tower block that would anchor any model-scale skyline. The model climbs in three setback tiers — a broad windowed podium, a taller central slab ribbed with vertical mullions, and a flat-roofed penthouse box with a small rooftop structure — all seated on a raised ground plinth. Rows of recessed rectangular windows wrap every face, giving it that dense, gridded office-or-entertainment-block look. The greyscale render shows crisp, machine-clean edges and generous flat roofs. It is built for dioramas: model railway townscapes, wargaming urban tables, architectural mock-ups or a resin cityscape. At N or HO scale it slots into a downtown block; scaled up it becomes a chunky brutalist centrepiece. Print notes • Print it sitting flat on its base plinth — that keeps every window row vertical and needs little to no support. • Hollow the interior with 2–3 perimeters and low infill to save a lot of filament on a model this bulky; the flat roofs mean no awkward overhangs. • 0.2 mm layers read fine at tabletop distance; go finer only if the window recesses matter up close. • Prime grey, then a light drybrush and a dark panel-line wash to make the window grid and setbacks read from across the room.
