A cenobium is a monastic community living under a shared rule, and that is the note this upgrade set is pitched at: turning rank-and-file power-armoured troopers into brothers of a closed, ritual-bound order. In grimdark science fiction the line between soldier and monk is a thin one, and armies built on that idea carry a particular look about them, solemn and ceremonial and older than the war they happen to be fighting. This is a bitz pack for conversion work rather than a standalone model. It exists to be kitbashed onto kits you already own, giving a squad a shared identity that off-the-shelf plastic will not. Worth picking up if you are assembling a proxy force at tabletop wargaming scale with a monastic character to it, or if you simply want your veterans to read differently from every other squad on the board.
