A blunt, modern corporate block for your miniature city. This building is a low, chunky office structure with an unmistakably brutalist, mid-century-modern character, presented on its own square display plinth. The massing is nearly cubic, with two visible elevations treated differently: one side is heavily ribbed with deep vertical fins that throw strong shadow lines, while the other reads as banded horizontal floor slabs of ribbon glazing. The flat roof is cluttered in a satisfyingly realistic way — stepped mechanical housings, boxy plant units and a cluster of vent stacks and pipes rising off one corner. A recessed slot at ground level reads as the main entrance. It is designed for city dioramas, model-railway backdrops and tabletop wargaming boards where a dense, no-nonsense commercial building fills out a block. On the moulded base it also stands alone as a small architectural model. Print notes • Print upright on the integrated base; the flat underside needs no raft. • The fine roof pipes and vent stacks are the fragile parts — print at 0.12mm and support just those verticals, or scale up if they come out too delicate. • The deep facade fins take an ink wash superbly for instant concrete grime and weathering. • Solid walls make it robust; a grey primer plus a lighter drybrush gives that poured-concrete look, or leave the plinth as a contrasting display base.
