Description
A blocky command tower rising off a fortified landing pad. This is a sci-fi HQ building for the tabletop: a stepped, tiered central tower, each level ridged like stacked deck-plates, sitting on a broad square base. The ground floor is banded with vertical door and vent panels, a raised bunker entrance juts from one side, and four low hex-capped domes anchor the corners of the pad like landing lights or defence turrets. The top is left open, a hollow rooftop bay you could crown with an antenna, gun emplacement or objective marker. It's an unashamedly functional, industrial silhouette, all right angles and repetition. Purpose-built as scenery for 28–32mm skirmish games, it doubles as a centrepiece objective, a spawn point or a sniper's roost. The clean stacked forms also make it a tidy backdrop for painted-mini photography. Print notes • Prints flat on the base with no supports needed for the tiered walls, the stepped overhangs self-support nicely. • The corner domes and bunker entrance are the only spots that may want a touch of support; check at your layer height. • FDM at 0.2mm is plenty for tabletop use; the ribbed floors hide layer lines and even add to the deck-plate look. • Prime with rattle-can grey, sponge on rust and hazard stripes, then edge-highlight the plate ridges for instant grimdark. Scale it up as a full building or shrink for epic-scale cityscapes.
