This is upgrade geometry rather than a whole trooper: pauldron faces shaped for the sombre, monastic look that army takes, with the hooded, robed character that separates them from the plainer Chapters standing beside them on the table. Swapping plates is the quickest way to turn a shelf of generic marines into a force that reads as one brotherhood, and a set like this exists precisely so a collector can do that without sculpting a company by hand.
