Dark Angels Contemptor Dreadnought

Contemptor-pattern walkers are the older, leaner relations of the standard battle dreadnought, machines drawn from a more advanced age of the Imperium and noticeably more upright than the hunched engines that succeeded them. Inside sits a veteran too badly broken to fight on foot, interred in the sarcophagus and woken only when the situation demands it. Handed to the First Legion, that idea gains extra weight. The Dark Angels are a Chapter built on secrecy and long memory, monastic in bearing and famously unwilling to explain themselves, and an ancient interred warrior belongs among them more naturally than most: a relic that remembers things the living are never told. It comes as a multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale, aimed at army builders after a centrepiece walker, converters chasing an older Heresy-era look, and painters who want a large model to work on.
