Dark Angels Nephilim Jetfighter

An atmospheric interceptor built for a chapter that prefers to settle its business quickly and without an audience. The airframe is heavy-nosed and predatory, all armoured plate and hard angles, closer to a flying gun battery than to anything nimble — an aircraft that hunts other aircraft and strafes whatever is left underneath. On the table it belongs to the secretive, robed order of gothic super-soldiers who go to war in something close to monastic silence, and it carries the same sombre weight their ground vehicles do. Less swagger than most flyers in the setting, more the feeling of a sentence being carried out from the air. It comes as a multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale, aimed at players extending an existing air wing, filling the fighter slot in a list with a proxy, or after a display piece that looks right poised above a painted battlefield.
