Dark Angels Redemptor Dreadnought

Redemptor-pattern walkers are the bulkiest of the Primaris war engines: a hunched, heavy-shouldered chassis assembled around an armoured sarcophagus, a mortally wounded veteran sealed inside it, and arm-mounted weaponry no infantryman could ever carry. This version is dressed in the character of a monastic, close-lipped Chapter that keeps its own counsel. Robed plating, cowled lines across the shoulders and a sombre, almost funereal bearing set it apart from the brasher marine forces — it reads less as a machine of war than as a reliquary that walks, which is very much the intent. On the table it is a heavy hitter and a centrepiece for a tabletop-scale army; off it, the deep robe folds and broad armour panels give a painter more than enough to work with. It comes as a multi-part kit, so the build can be broken into stages and the sub-assemblies painted before everything goes together.
