The First Legion carry themselves differently from the rest of the Adeptus Astartes, and their torsos are where it shows. Heavy plate worn beneath monastic robes and tabards, winged sword iconography, the sombre bearing of a chapter guarding a secret it will not name aloud. This is a collection of alternative torso pieces cut in that idiom for 28mm heroic-scale conversion work. Torsos set a squad's character more than any other component, and stock kits rarely offer enough variation to stop ten marines reading as the same model repeated. A deep bits set breaks that up across a whole force, or lifts a proxy build to something worth putting at the front of a display shelf. As a substantial multi-part collection, it is aimed at kitbashers assembling robed line squads, Deathwing terminators or Ravenwing riders with poses of their own choosing.
