Dragonborn Paladin at Vigil - Tabletop Miniature

A brass-scaled dragonborn paladin kneels over a grounded broadsword, both gauntlets stacked on the pommel and the blade's point sunk into a round plinth of fitted temple mosaic. The drake skull is bowed far enough that the swept horn crest rakes back level with the shoulders. Cream-ivory scutes run in keeled rows down the throat above a breastplate flooded with thick sky-blue enamel, chipped back to bright nickel along every edge roll and studded with fat dome rivets. One greaved knee is planted flat on the tile, the other boot sole flat beside it. The oat-cream wool tabard pools heavy over the forward thigh with a blunt rolled hem, the round shield rides flat against the back, and the thick-based tail curls once around the kneeling leg to rest its blunt tip on the stone. A radiating sunburst is tiled flush into the plinth face; a dropped votive candle stub lies low against the chamfered rim. The register is an oath being kept in a quiet room, not a battle cry — this is the big armoured reptile who stays knelt after everyone else has gone to eat. The masses were cut deliberately fat, as plate lands, deep scale rows and broad cloth troughs, so the figure carries on silhouette at tabletop scale and gains surface rather than fineness when it is printed large. One mesh, 192,516 triangles, watertight and manifold. Part count is one; the model was not cut. Bounding box 175.08 x 175.48 x 215 mm, solid volume 762.75 cm3. The base is part of the sculpt, not a separate disc. At the measured size the model fits the build plate it was checked against. Print time came out at 279 minutes. Filament weight was not reported by the slicer: about 57.21 g in PLA, calculated from extruded volume and PLA density. Overhang area measures 10 percent, and the thinnest wall in the mesh is 1.335 mm. No assembly. It is a single part with the plinth, the kneeling leg, the tabard hem, the tail coil and the sword's grounded point all thickening into the tile as one continuous mass, filleted at every junction. The underside is milled wide, level and flat. The file is yours to print for yourself and for gifts, as many times as you like.
