Description

Most liches you can put on the table are the same robed column with the arms raised, and this one is a drowned barrow-wizard folded down onto its heels instead, cradling a thick blown-glass jar against its sternum like a hoarded egg. Swapping in a different sorcerer-king does not help, because a tall thin figure in a cloak reads as a tall thin figure in a cloak from across the room whichever one you printed. So the silhouette here is a low broad gourd, far wider than it is tall: knees jutting forward and up to clamp the jar, skull tipped down over it, shoulder blades riding high behind, the wrap ends pooling outward into a heavy skirt. The bone is stained dark with peat and furred with flat olive-and-sage mats of algae, soot caught down in the sutures. The jaw is wired shut with corroded copper. A crown of square-cut coffin nails is hammered straight through the cranium, crusted oxide-orange, and the grave-linen is carved as tallow-waxed slabs with frayed blunt selvedges and umber water stains. Under the jar's verdigris lid sits a jaundiced sulphur-yellow soul-light, glossy against the dull wax sheen of everything else. It squats on sunken bog planks and silt, one barrow stone half-buried flush at the chamfered rim: a dead thing guarding the only part of itself that still matters. WHAT YOU GET: one single-part model, not cut, with the plinth sculpted as part of the figure. The mesh measures watertight and manifold at 197,150 triangles. PRINTING IT: 100 mm tall on a 77.748 × 77.975 mm footprint, and it fits the build plate it was checked against. Volume is 101.7259 cm³, with a sliced estimate of 308 minutes; the slicer reported no weight, so multiplying extruded volume by PLA density gives about 66.59 g in PLA. Thinnest wall measures 0.684 mm and 8.43% of the surface measures as overhang. The forms were carved fat and blunt to stay readable scaled down to 32 mm heroic, though nothing was test printed at that scale. ASSEMBLY: none. Both heels, the pooled linen skirt and the jar's lowest curve merge into the timber as a single thickened mass with a broad radius at every meeting, and the underside is cut wide, level and flat. LICENCE: print it as many times as you like for yourself, and paint it however you want. Do not resell or redistribute the file, altered or not. Selling prints of it is covered by a separate commercial tier. CHANGELOG: 2026-10-09 — first release. Single-part sculpt, integrated bog-plank base, measured watertight and manifold.
