Orbital assault begins with one of these: a blunt armoured capsule fired from a warship in low orbit, punching through atmosphere and slamming into the ground so a squad can be fighting within seconds of landing. It is less a vehicle than a one-way delivery mechanism, built to survive a single violent trip and never fly again. On the table it reads as the arrival point of an entire tactic. Deployed mid-game it drops a unit where it will hurt most, and the model itself doubles as terrain once the squad has moved off — a scorched, half-buried landmark in the middle of the board. Built at tabletop wargaming scale as a proxy for the standard Imperial pattern, it suits anyone running an aggressive drop-assault list or simply wanting a piece of hard sci-fi hardware for a display board.
