GCSH 04

A no-nonsense modern tower, ready to anchor a skyline. GCSH 04 is a rectangular high-rise office block modelled with strong vertical mullions running the full height, subtly stepped setbacks that break the mass into stacked tiers, a recessed ground-floor entrance, and a pair of small rooftop water tanks or plant housings up top. It sits on a stepped plinth base that doubles as a footing, so it stands square on a layout with no extra work. The geometry is clean and low-poly, which is exactly what you want in a background building: it reads as a convincing tower from across the room, prints fast, and repeats affordably if you need a whole downtown block. Ideal for model railways, wargame city boards, architectural massing studies and cityscape dioramas. Print notes • Prints upright with no supports — the vertical ribs are self-supporting and the flat base grips the bed. • Scale to suit: shrink for N or HO railway backdrops, or enlarge for a tabletop skyscraper. • FDM in grey PLA gives a ready-made concrete look; a wash of darker grey deepens the window recesses. • Enlarge and hollow the shell if you want to drop interior LEDs behind the window strips for a lit night scene.
