Description

A whole city block shrunk to the palm of your hand. This model gathers a cluster of buildings onto a single rectangular base: a tall flat-roofed tower block dominates the skyline, flanked by mid-rise offices, a row of townhouses, a squat pitched-roof structure and several low commercial units, all packed together like a genuine downtown corner. The varied heights and rooflines give it real urban rhythm, and the whole scene prints as one connected piece on its own plinth. It is made for the small scales: a low-relief or full backdrop for N or Z gauge railways, a city sector for micro-scale wargaming, a monopoly-style desk sculpture, or a modern architectural massing model. Set it behind a station, drop it on a shelf as a minimalist cityscape, or line several up to build a sprawling metropolis. Practical pointers: • At this scale detail is fine, so use a 0.4mm or smaller nozzle (resin is ideal) and a low layer height to keep window mullions and roof edges legible. • Print flat on the base — the buildings self-support, so you should need little to no support material. • The single-piece plinth makes handling and painting easy; mask the base and spray the towers, then pick out windows with a wash or dry-brush. • Scale up or down to match your gauge, and print a few copies for a repeating skyline. A tidy, evocative little cityscape with plenty of display and layout uses.
