The conceit behind grav weaponry in grimdark science fiction is that it multiplies the weight of whatever it is aimed at until plate armour buckles under its own bulk, which makes it a specialist's answer to heavily protected targets at close quarters rather than a general-issue gun. The design language follows that logic. It is blocky and mechanical, with the mass gathered at the front where an emitter housing sits instead of a conventional barrel, so it reads as a piece of equipment rather than a pistol. This is a bits and parts piece for conversion work: the sort of thing that goes into a sergeant's hand to mark him out from his squad, or into a kitbash for a unit meant to field grav armament.
