Heavy weapons are what turn a line squad into a support squad, and this is a set of them drawn in the idiom of a Chapter whose whole reputation rests on siege work — the specialists called in when a position has to be held or a wall has to come down. Devastator armament is the long end of a marine force: crew-served firepower carried by armoured infantry, meant to be set up somewhere with a view and then made expensive to approach. The setting gives its guns a deliberately over-engineered look, closer to industrial machinery than to anything a modern soldier would carry, and heavy weapon sculpts live or die on how far they lean into that. This is a bits release rather than a complete model, supplied as a single file and aimed at converters and kitbashers arming a heavy support squad of their own.
