Imperial Fists Sigismund

Long before the Black Templars existed, one man took the Emperor's Champion's oath and never really set it down. Sigismund, First Captain of the VII Legion, was Rogal Dorn's finest blade, a duellist who fought through the Siege of Terra and left with a reputation that outlasted the Legion he was raised in. The model catches him mid-crusade in heavy siege plate, tabard and seals, a two-handed sword carried with the ease of a swordsman who has rarely needed a second stroke. It comes as a multi-part kit, so this is a proper evening at the hobby desk rather than a five-minute job, and a rewarding one for anyone who enjoys the assembly as much as the painting. Use him as a proxy champion or captain in 28mm grimdark games, or simply as the centrepiece a crusading, siege-minded force is built around.
