These are Incubi, and they’re one of the few Drukhari units that feel genuinely surgical. On the tabletop, Incubi aren’t about swarming or tying things up — they’re about deleting something important and then seeing what’s left standing. They work best when delivered cleanly into the right target, usually something elite that relies on armour or toughness rather than sheer numbers. You don’t throw them into chaff and you don’t expect them to survive a prolonged fight. Their value is front-loaded: hit hard, remove the threat, and force your opponent to deal with the aftermath. If they trade for something more expensive or more influential, that’s a win. If they’re left exposed afterward, that’s usually on positioning, not the unit. As a proxy, the heavy armour and disciplined silhouette clearly signal an elite role, which helps keep games clear and avoids confusion about intent. These are tools for decisive moments, not general-purpose brawlers.
