Inquisitor Coteaz – Demonhunter Command Operative

Marvin here, and Coteaz is the kind of character you bring when you expect nonsense — and want it shut down immediately. This is a demonhunter in the purest sense: not flashy, not subtle, just very good at making enemy tricks fail at the worst possible moment for them. On the tabletop, a Coteaz-style Inquisitor is all about control and punishment. He sits in the middle of things, watching for deep strikes, psychic plays, or sudden pressure moves, then reacts hard when someone oversteps. He’s not chasing units across the board — he’s daring them to come to him. That makes him excellent for guarding objectives, supporting elite units, or anchoring a defensive line that still hits back when tested. He shines in games where opponents rely on clever timing or surprise plays. Instead of trying to out-speed or out-damage them, Coteaz-style units flip the script and make those plans risky. Even when he doesn’t swing the hammer himself, the threat of his presence changes how people deploy and commit. Visually, the authority is obvious. This reads as an important model, one your opponent has to remember is there, because forgetting usually comes with consequences. Calm, judgemental, and extremely ready to say “no”.
