Iron Hands Vehicle Doors

The fastest way to make a squadron of transports read as one force rather than three unrelated kits is the door panel. It sits at eye level on the hull, it is the part that ends up in every photograph, and changing it changes the character of the whole vehicle. These are decorative door panels worked in the visual language of grimdark sci-fi armour, and specifically of a chapter defined by its distrust of flesh: hard industrial surfaces, machine-cult ornament and the cold mechanical bearing of warriors who have replaced a great deal of themselves with iron. Set against the plain slab of a stock hull, that difference registers immediately. It is a detail part rather than a model in its own right, but it is the detail that decides whether a tank looks generic or looks like it belongs to somebody in particular.
