Lord of Change

Among the greater daemons, this one wins its battles by knowing the answer before the question has been asked. The Lord of Change is the avian embodiment of a capricious god of magic and scheming: a towering, bird-headed monstrosity on long clawed legs, with a great sweep of wings behind it and a sorcerer's staff in its taloned hands. Everything about the silhouette is built to unsettle, being too tall, too thin and too knowing, and that is exactly what makes it work as a centrepiece. Set on the table it dominates the board and pulls the eye from the far end of it. Wargamers fielding a daemonic force want one as their commander; painters tend to want one regardless, because wings, feathers and flowing robes give an enormous canvas to work across. It comes as a multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale.
