Description
Istanbul's great imperial mosque, shrunk to fit a shelf. This is a scale model of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque — the Blue Mosque — rendered in clean, untextured geometry. A broad rectangular prayer hall steps upward through a cascade of half-domes to the swelling central dome, a colonnaded forecourt is capped by a run of small matching cupolas, and six slender minarets stand at the corners, each with its ringed balcony galleries and a sharp needle spire. Those six minarets are the building's signature, and they are all present here. The mesh is deliberately low-to-mid poly, so it prints quickly and stays legible at small sizes instead of collapsing into fragile filigree. That makes it a natural fit for architecture study models, an Istanbul keepsake, a history or geography classroom piece, or a landmark building on a diorama, model railway or tabletop cityscape. Print notes • Split the job: the main body flat on the bed, and the minarets standing vertically and printed separately for the cleanest spires. • The tall, thin minarets like a brim and a slow first layer; light tree supports under their balconies stop drooping. • Scale it down for N or HO layouts, or up for a display centrepiece — the geometry holds either way. • Prints cleanly in PLA or resin; resin rewards the dome ribbing and arcades with crisper shadow lines.
