Necron security pylon

An automated sentry structure of the sort that stands watch over buried tomb complexes, still awake and still running long after the machine dynasty that raised it went to sleep beneath the sand. The visual language is hard geometry and etched surfaces, architecture built by a culture with no interest in comfort and no expectation of visitors. On the table it earns its place as scatter terrain, an objective marker, or the whole reason for a narrative mission: something one side has to reach, wake, disable or defend before the turn limit runs out. It is scenery rather than a datasheet entry, which makes it easy to drop into games of any ruleset without an argument about points. Seven files make up the piece, a multi-part terrain kit scaled to sit alongside 28mm miniatures.
