Nurglings – Stinkin’ Pile of Warp Imps

Before the greater daemons arrive, the little ones slip through first. Nurglings are the smallest servants of decay, gleeful bundles of rot and mischief that crawl out of the warp in chattering piles. They laugh, bite, scratch and climb over each other in a swarm of filth, spreading disease and confusion wherever they go. On the battlefield these creatures behave less like soldiers and more like a living infestation. They swarm objectives, cling to enemies, and generally make themselves impossible to ignore while the larger horrors of Chaos advance behind them. From a modelling perspective, Nurglings are some of the most characterful creatures in a daemon army. Their stacked bodies, grinning faces, and grotesque little forms capture the bizarre humour of Nurgle’s domain—an endless pile of disgusting little monsters that seem to enjoy every moment of it.
