Plague marine alt

Rot is a difficult thing to sculpt convincingly. It has to look like decay that set in centuries ago rather than damage taken last week, and the plague-ridden traitor marine is the archetype that demands it: ceramite split and swollen from the inside, plate corroded through, a warrior held upright by something a great deal worse than health. This is an alternative reading of that archetype and a substantial one, arriving as a large multi-part kit clearly built with conversion and kitbashing in mind. Anyone fielding a whole unit of these will appreciate having options rather than one fixed pose repeated down the line. It suits 28mm tabletop games, proxy armies and, above all, painters who actually enjoy the technical business of weathering, grime and corrosion rather than treating it as a chore.
