Plaguebearers

The rank and file of the plague god's legions, these are the shuffling, bloated daemons that keep count of every pestilence loosed on the mortal world. They advance in droning ranks rather than charging, muttering their tallies as they come, and the corroded blades they carry do their work slowly. Sculpturally that is a gift to a painter. Swollen torsos, split hide, a single baleful eye and a long curling horn give far more to work with than most rank-and-file infantry, and the model rewards glazes, washes and grime rather than crisp edge highlighting. This is a troops-slot daemon at 28mm heroic scale, sized for standard tabletop games and useful as a proxy for anyone building a horde without waiting on stock. Print a handful and you have a unit; print a dozen and you start to get the slow, inevitable tide that a Nurgle army is meant to feel like.
