Phobos-pattern wargear is the kit of infiltrators and vanguard troops — lighter plate, a lower profile, equipment meant for moving ahead of the main battle line rather than standing shoulder to shoulder in it. Sculpted at tabletop wargaming scale as a single character model, it is intended to lead the reconnaissance element of a space marine force: pushing through ruins and board terrain, calling the flank while the heavy infantry hold the centre.
