Description
A stepped art-deco tower climbing in tiers, all vertical lines and clean setbacks. This is a scale-model high-rise straight out of the 1920s–30s skyscraper idiom: a tall central slab that rises through a series of crisp setbacks toward a blocky crown, its faces ruled with unbroken vertical window mullions that push the eye upward. A lower rectangular podium wing wraps one side at street level, giving the model a real footprint rather than a lone spike. Rendered in plain grey, it's a diorama and model-railway building at heart — a downtown backdrop for N or HO layouts, a wargaming cityscape block or objective, or a desktop architectural study. The strong vertical grooves make it forgiving to print and easy to paint. Print notes • Prints cleanly in FDM; the vertical mullions conveniently hide layer lines. • Orient it upright and hollow the interior to save filament on larger prints — the open base makes that simple. • Scale to your gauge: reduce for N (1:160) or HO (1:87), or print full size as a bookshelf skyscraper. • Use a low layer height for sharp window recesses; the vertical faces need no supports.
