The Rapier is exactly that, a compact heavy weapons carriage from the older and harder-fought era of the setting, worked by armoured crew who lay and feed the gun rather than ride it into the fight. It belongs with siege lines, ruined streets and the sort of engagement decided by who still holds a junction at nightfall. It earns a place on a diorama base too - a static gun position reads as ground being held in a way a squad caught mid-advance never quite manages.
