Redemptor Dreadnought

Dreadnoughts are grimdark's answer to a fallen hero who refuses to stop fighting: a mortally wounded warrior sealed into an armoured walking chassis and sent back to the front line. The Redemptor is the newer, heavier take on that idea, a broad-shouldered biped that towers over the infantry it fights alongside, weapon arms slung wide and a sarcophagus torso carrying the interred pilot at its centre. On the table it fills the role of mobile gun platform and morale anchor, the piece an opponent has to deal with before anything else goes to plan. Coming as a multi-part kit across four files, it appeals equally to army-builders after a proxy walker for an existing force and to painters who want a single commanding centrepiece at tabletop wargaming scale.
