Description

A modern high-rise that tapers to a rocket's nose. This is an architectural scale model of a slender skyscraper, shown here as a clean grey CAD mesh. The tower rises in stepped, ribbed tiers that narrow as they climb, the stack of setbacks giving it a subtly bullet-like, aerodynamic silhouette — hence the "rocket" nickname. It is crowned by a small mechanical crest and a thin needle spire. Around the base, a rounded fluted podium wraps the foot of the tower, and the whole building sits on a stepped square plinth ready to drop into a scene. This is aimed at diorama builders, model-railway city scenes, architectural massing studies and tabletop cityscapes. Printed small it becomes background skyline; printed larger it can headline a display base. The blocky, low-detail geometry is deliberate — it holds up at tiny scales where fine ornament would just blur. Print notes • Print vertically straight off the plinth; the tapering profile is largely self-supporting, with only the podium overhang and spire needing a little help. • The needle spire is fragile — thicken it in your slicer or add it as a separate pin if you are going small. • FDM at 0.2mm is plenty for a skyline piece; resin if you want the tier lines crisp. • Leave the plinth solid for a stable footprint, or hollow it and add a weight for larger prints.
