Salamanders Aggressors

Heavy assault infantry from a Chapter whose traditions run back to a volcanic world of forges, ash plains and drake-hunts. Aggressors wear the bulkiest pattern of Primaris war-plate there is, giving up speed and grace for the ability to stand upright in a storm of incoming fire and answer it at close range. That makes them a squad you commit to a specific piece of ground rather than manoeuvre with: the mouth of a corridor, the far end of a bridge, the objective nobody else can hold. Sculpts in this tradition lean on the smith-craft side of the Chapter's character, with heavy, deliberate proportions and armour treated as worked metal rather than moulded shell. Twenty-two files make up the unit, so it is a proper multi-part kit for 28mm tabletop play, proxy use or display, and a rewarding subject for painters who enjoy building heat and soot into recessed armour.
