Salamanders Chaos Dreadnought

Entombed in a walking sarcophagus, a mortally wounded veteran fights on long after his body has failed him. That is the grim bargain behind this hulking war machine: a slab-armoured walker, broad across the shoulders and heavy through the hips, made to advance into fire rather than around it. The design leans on the artisan character of a Chapter associated with forge-fire and drake imagery, with texture worked into the plating, ornament that looks hammered rather than moulded, and a silhouette closer to a foundry press than a soldier. On the table it plays the anchor of a battle line, the model an opponent has to plan around before anything else moves. Supplied as a multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale, it suits proxy armies, kitbashers and anyone after a centrepiece with genuine mass behind it.
