Description

A landmark Dakar mosque, shrunk to shelf scale. This is a 3D model of the Seydou Nourou Tall Mosque in Dakar, Senegal, presented here in raw grey resin-render form. The dominant element is a large, gently rounded facade slab, and stepping out from one side are the building's tower structures — bulbous, dome-topped minarets sitting above tightly detailed, ribbed and latticed masonry that captures the mosque's West African Islamic architecture. Even at this angle you can read the layered horizontal courses and the paired domed towers that give the real building its silhouette. It's made for architecture enthusiasts, model collectors and diorama builders who want a recognisable religious landmark for a desk display, a cityscape base or a study piece. Printed small it's a keepsake; scaled up it becomes a centrepiece with real presence. Print notes • Resin (SLA/MSLA) will best resolve the fine lattice and dome detailing; FDM works at larger scales with a fine nozzle. • Orient with the flat rear of the facade toward the plate and support the overhanging domes and projecting towers. • Print as a solid display model — no need to hollow unless you're going large to save resin. • Leave it in a clean matte grey or off-white to read as a sandstone maquette, or paint the domes and courses for a lifelike finish. Confirm the overall footprint before slicing so the delicate minarets stay in proportion to the main facade.
