Description

Marvin here, and the Kharon Walker is Mechanicus problem-solving at its finest: why drive around the battlefield when you can stomp straight through it. This thing sits somewhere between a transport and a threat, which is exactly what makes it uncomfortable to play against. On the tabletop, walker transports like this are all about forced decisions. It’s not just carrying troops — it’s walking them into places your opponent thought were screened, safe, or inconvenient to reach. The walker profile means it naturally pushes into the mid-board, blocks movement, and creates awkward charge and shooting angles just by existing. Units delivered by something like this usually end up: Pressuring central objectives early Appearing in places that break neat battle lines Forcing opponents to commit firepower earlier than planned Acting as a distraction that infantry quietly benefit from It’s especially good in armies that like controlled aggression. You’re not teleporting or flying — you’re advancing with intent, daring your opponent to deal with the carrier before whatever’s inside becomes their real problem. Visually, the walker silhouette does a lot of work. It reads as industrial, purposeful, and slightly hostile, which makes it very clear that this isn’t a passive transport. It’s part of the threat. Exactly the kind of machine the Omnissiah would approve of.
