Skyler Building

A pocket-sized Art Deco skyscraper that drops a chunk of the 1920s skyline onto your shelf. The tower climbs in classic stepped-setback style: a wide street-level podium, a tall central shaft ranked with row upon row of narrow windows, then a recessed upper block crowned by a faceted, chevron-cut spire that looks straight off a Jazz Age postcard. The mullions and floor bands are modelled crisply enough to read as real masonry, and the whole thing sits on its own integrated pavement plinth so it stands dead level with no fiddling. It's built for people who make worlds in miniature: model-railway city edges, modern or period wargaming boards, architectural dioramas, or just a striking standalone desk piece for anyone who loves early high-rise design. Print notes • Print it upright, exactly as oriented, so the setbacks self-support and the window faces stay clean. • Resin gives the sharpest window detail; on FDM use a 0.4mm or smaller nozzle at 0.12mm layers. • The base is flat, so no raft is needed and a brim is optional for tall-print stability. • Scale it down to N, OO or HO for railway work, or up past 200mm as a feature model; hollow tall FDM prints to save filament. A coat of concrete-grey primer and a light drybrush, and it reads instantly as a real limestone tower.
