A slab-sided commercial tower standing tall on its own plaza podium. This architectural model captures a modern high-rise office block: a narrow rectangular shaft climbing perhaps forty-plus storeys, its four faces gridded with row upon row of small punched windows. The crown is flat with a cluster of rooftop plant and vents, and the base widens into a two-tier stepped plinth that reads as a street-level lobby set on a raised podium, giving the whole thing a satisfying sense of scale. It is aimed squarely at diorama builders, wargamers and model-railway makers who need a believable downtown skyline. Drop it into an N- or HO-scale cityscape, use it as a backdrop building for tabletop skirmish games, or print a cluster at different heights to fake a business district. Print notes: • Orient it upright on the podium base; the flat bottom needs no raft and the vertical window grooves come out sharpest printed this way. • Detail hides slicing artefacts, so a 0.16 to 0.2 mm layer height is plenty; the repeating windows disguise minor stepping. • Print hollow with a few perimeters to save filament on such a tall part, and consider a light bead-blast or primer-and-sand pass before painting. • A grey base coat with a black wash in the window recesses instantly sells the glass-and-concrete look; dab a few windows with a light colour to suggest interior lights.
