Skyscraper

A model high-rise ready to anchor a city block. This is a tiered commercial tower — a tall, slab-sided building that steps inward as it climbs, its faces ruled with row after row of recessed windows. It sits on its own integrated square plaza with a stepped plinth, so it stands upright without extra mounting. The corners are chamfered, a couple of vertical service bays break up the facade, and the crown tapers into a faceted cap — altogether a believable late-20th-century office block. Set one down as a diorama backdrop or batch a few at staggered heights and you've got an instant skyline. Equally at home on an N/HO-scale railway, a tabletop city battlefield, an architecture study, or a desk as a minimalist grey sculpture. Print notes • Prints upright straight off the base with no supports; the base gives a wide, stable footprint. • Window recesses read best with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.16–0.2mm layers — scale down for railway ratios or up for a statement piece. • Grey PLA needs no finishing, but a quick grey primer plus a white drybrush pops every window frame. • Hollow with 2–3 perimeters and low infill to save filament on the tall body.
