Smash Captain

The nickname comes from the tabletop, not the fiction. Give a power-armoured company officer a jump pack, a two-handed hammer and a slab of a shield and you get the model that gets dropped behind a gunline to break it open, and players have been calling that build the smash captain for years. This is that officer rendered as a 28mm character piece: hammer wound back mid-swing, shield braced across the body, jump pack flared and thrusters lit, the pose caught in the half-second between landing and impact. Laurels, purity seals and a heavy pauldron mark him out as command rather than rank and file. Supplied as a multi-part kit, it is built as an HQ choice for grimdark skirmish and army play, and reads equally well as a single display miniature.
