Commissar

Steel the line — or answer to the Commissar. This 28mm proxy captures a battle-hardened Imperial Guard commissar mid-command, bolt pistol raised in one fist and a straight power sword swept out in the other. Every inch of him reads authority: a peaked officer's cap crowned with a laurel and death's-head, a fur-collared storm cloak billowing behind, and an ornate breastplate hung with campaign medals, chains and a proud aquila. The scarred, sneering face leaves no doubt that this is a man who leads from the very front — and shoots anyone who doesn't follow. He makes an ideal commander, warlord or morale anchor for an Astra Militarum / Imperial Guard proxy force, and drops just as easily into any grimdark sci-fi skirmish or narrative game as an inspiring hero character. The dynamic pose and rich detail also make him a rewarding display and painting-project piece in his own right. Print notes: • Designed for 28–32mm tabletop scale; scales cleanly up for a display bust. • Resin (SLA/DLP) is recommended for the crisp face, braid and medal detail; prints well on a good FDM machine at fine layer heights too. • Print at a slight backward tilt with supports on the cape underside and the outstretched arms to keep the face and blade clean. • Supplied as separate body and arm parts for easy supporting and tidy assembly.
