Space Wolves Infernal Dragon

Grimdark armies rarely get a proper dragon, which is much of the appeal here. This is a serpentine flyer with a long fanged jaw, swept membrane wings and the coiled posture of something that hunts rather than patrols, closer to a saga monster than a machine. The styling leans on the wolf-and-longship tradition of Fenris, all knotwork, teeth and totemic weight, wrapped over a beast that would look entirely at home diving on a battle line. On the table it fills the role of a large flying monster: a centrepiece for a Norse-flavoured Space Marine force, a proxy for a heavy flyer in a grimdark ruleset, or a shelf piece for a collection of painted sci-fi. It is a single-model download, the sort of project painters take on when they want one ambitious piece instead of another squad.
