Space Wolves Wulfen

Somewhere between a warrior and the thing that hunts him, the Wulfen are what the gene-curse of the sons of Fenris looks like when it wins. They fight half-transformed, hunched and over-muscled, and the rest of the Chapter regards them as a weapon and a warning at the same time. These sculpts commit to that, and to the Norse-inflected register the Chapter is built on: fangs, pelts, heavy talons and hung charms rather than the clean silhouette of a standard battle-brother. The shapes are deliberately messier, which is precisely what makes them satisfying to paint. A small set at tabletop wargaming scale, intended as proxies for feral close-assault units in grimdark skirmish and mass-battle games. They suit anyone building a wolf-themed force, or anyone who wants a unit that visibly refuses the parade-ground mould the rest of the army keeps to.
