Storm Shields

Storm shields are what heavy infantry carry when the answer to incoming fire is to put something solid in front of it: a broad slab braced on the forearm, deep enough to shelter a fully armoured body, and usually carried opposite a close-combat weapon rather than a gun. These are bits rather than a finished miniature, meant for the parts bin. The uses are the familiar ones. Bringing a squad assembled from several different sources into line with one another, giving a converted character something appropriate to hold, or replacing pieces lost or broken out of an older army. Anyone building a grimdark force for long enough runs short of shields and arms eventually, and a set to draw on saves rummaging. Supplied as a multi-part set at tabletop wargaming scale, aimed at builders who are comfortable cutting, pinning and kitbashing their own models.
