An assault gunship built for one job: putting a squad of power-armoured infantry onto a contested landing zone and then loitering overhead long enough to be a problem. Blunt-nosed, heavily plated and hung with hardpoints, this pattern is the heavier cousin of the standard drop flyer, less a transport that happens to be armed than a gunship that happens to carry troops. With thirty-six files it comes as a substantial multi-part kit, a centrepiece build rather than a rank-and-file addition to a shelf. On the board it fills the flyer slot in a 28mm grimdark space marine force: air support, a late-arriving reserve, or the model an entire army list is arranged around. Best approached as a project. Gunships at this scale reward patient assembly and a bit of planning before anything is committed.
