Stormhawk Interceptor

Every grimdark army list runs into enemy aircraft sooner or later, and this is the answer to that problem: a heavily armed interceptor built to hunt other flyers rather than strafe infantry. It follows the same design language as the rest of the Imperium's aerospace fleet, blunt and armoured and rather more gun than aeroplane, closer to a gothic cathedral that happens to fly than to anything aerodynamic. On the table it stands in as a flyer, the slot in a space marine force that nothing else quite fills, arriving late and dominating the middle of the board once it does. It comes as a multi-part kit, normal for a model at this size, and gives a painter a great deal of surface to work across. A proper centrepiece, and a silhouette no other unit in the army offers.
