Tactical Marines

Ask anyone who has built a power-armoured force where they started, and the answer is almost always a squad like this one. Tactical marines are the battleline of the older firstborn organisation — bolter-armed infantry expected to take an objective, hold it, and still be upright when the specialists finally turn up. They are neither the elite nor the shock troops. They are the reason the rest of the army has somewhere to advance from. The archetype is all heavy silhouette: mass across the shoulders, the helmet sunk low between the pauldrons, ceramite plate over a frame that has been rebuilt more than once. At seventy-one files this is a substantial multi-part release, aimed squarely at players filling out a whole squad, or several, as unbranded proxies for grimdark tabletop games.
